Player tasks in the order you meet them: the first stop, the route number, the map, the fleet, Sunshards, servers, specials, and the door procedure.

Read in this order

The first-shift guide is the controls and the payout rule. The route-number guide explains the digits before you open the catalog. Island and operator pages are references. Specials and large servers are for after level 10.

Which 🚌 Sunshine Islands Bus Simulator [NEW] guides are published?

Finish your first shift

Release the brake, stop within range of every stand, and open the front door. That loop is the whole first shift.

Open guide

Read a route number before you spawn

Two digits stay in one zone, three digits cross water, and a letter says whether the duty is peak, night, typhoon or a staff shuttle.

Open guide

Find the island you are actually on

Ten islands sit in zones 1, 4, 6, 7 and 8. Zones 2, 3 and 5 are water, and four strategic roads do the crossing.

Open guide

Pick an operator and a bus you can finish in

Four franchises run the live network. Most buses are free from the first shift. The company changes the destination display, not the door keys.

Open guide

Earn Sunshards without buying the ordinary routes

Daily tasks and challenges reset at 00:00 UTC. Sunshards buy specials. Levels, most routes and most buses are driven, not purchased.

Open guide

Choose a server before the shift, not during it

Standard servers are the small public ones. Realism and the 100-player Community Server unlock at level 10, and joining teleports you.

Open guide

Night, typhoon, stadium and staff duties

N, R, S, U, Y, C and F are not beginner variants of the daytime route. Each one has a gate, a date or a missing payout.

Open guide

Work a stop so the payout still counts

The bell, the front door and the 7 metre prompt decide the duty. The rear door is only for people getting off.

FAQ

🚌 Sunshine Islands Bus Simulator [NEW] guide questions

Is Sunshine Islands Bus Simulator free?

Yes. The Roblox listing is free and says the experience runs on PC, mobile and console. The same page suggests a free private server when you want a quieter session.

Which route should a new driver take?

Start with a two-digit local such as 41A, 42, 46, 47 or 75. Those stay inside one zone. Leave three-digit bridge and tunnel routes, night services and Sunshard specials until the stop loop is reliable.

How do the route numbers work?

Two digits stay in one zone, and the first digit is usually that zone. Zone 1 is the exception: Dove Island services are numbered 2x, so 21 and 25 are not Zone 2. Three digits cross zones. A letter in front or behind changes the kind of service.

What are Sunshards for?

Sunshards are the Version 2 currency for special work such as sightseeing routes S1 and S2, special U47 departures and Sunshine Stadium extras. Ordinary progression, most routes and most buses are earned by driving.

Are there redeem codes?

No code string has been confirmed for this place, and the game page does not describe a code box. Public code roundups also report that there is nothing to redeem. Rewards come from finished shifts, daily tasks and daily challenges.

What unlocks at level 10?

Daily Challenges, Public Realism servers and Community Servers. Rare bus appearances also start through those challenges. A friend can still invite you into a Community Server from the Roblox homepage before you reach level 10.

Why did a finished shift pay nothing?

Skipping a scheduled stop removes the experience and Sunshard payout. Holding the parking brake while the bus is already rolling is treated as harsh braking. At the CSB Depot rooftop and the Forever Transit depot the door prompt only appears at about 3 to 4 metres, not the usual 7.
