The Enviro200 is the usual example of a single-door single-decker. It has no rear door, so L does nothing useful. Passengers alight through the front, and nobody boards until alighting has finished.

Start with a two-digit local such as 41A, 42, 46, 47 or 75. Those stay inside one zone. Leave three-digit bridge and tunnel routes, night services and Sunshard specials until the stop loop is reliable.
Two digits stay in one zone, and the first digit is usually that zone. Zone 1 is the exception: Dove Island services are numbered 2x, so 21 and 25 are not Zone 2. Three digits cross zones. A letter in front or behind changes the kind of service.
Sunshards are the Version 2 currency for special work such as sightseeing routes S1 and S2, special U47 departures and Sunshine Stadium extras. Ordinary progression, most routes and most buses are earned by driving.
